Fall Patent Prosecution Course Scheduled
COURSE SCHEDULE
Patent Prosecution Fundamentals course PPF101 commences Tuesday October 23rd, 2012; and concludes with a final test on Tuesday November 20th, 2012.
PPF101 is a 4-week / 16-hour course comprised of eight 2-hour evening classes, plus a 2-hour week 5 final test. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7:30pm & 9:30pm U.S. CST.
Registration for IPParalegals’ PPF101 closes on Friday October 19, 2012.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Upon completion, students will have learned the basics of filing a patent application in the United States. Provided is a core understanding of what patents are, familiarity with basic patent filing forms & processes, as well as hands-on exposure to the craft’s requisite rules, formalities and procedures. Included will be numerous new changes to the America Invents Act that go into effect September 16, 2012.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
All sessions are held live and online with Viola Ange, our IP Specialist and expert instructor who has been teaching patent and trademark prosecution to nonlawyer IP professionals for over two decades. In addition to interactive classroom instruction from Ms. Ange, all sessions are video recorded and made available online for student playback 24×7 up to the final test date. After-class shop talk and offline Q&As between sessions are the norm.
Students receive a digital copy of course materials prior to each session, and graduates receive a certificate of completion. Package discounts for bundled courses, as well as discounts for multiple students attending from the same
